In the Home tab under Market Watch there are few indices like Nifty 50, Nifty Bank, Fin Nifty, India Vix and many others. My suggestion would be to move them around a bit as it looks a lot messed up with market cap index, sectoral index mixed together at different places. I can’t exactly find one index quickly in a quick fashion as the list both vertically & horizontally is mixed with different indices with different categorization. Please make sure to
a. keep broad market indices like Nifty 50, Nifty next 50, Nifty midcap 150, Nifty smallcap 250, Nifty microcap 250 (doesn’t exist in market watch but could be added) in one column/row and then
b.sliced up indices like Nifty 100, Nifty 200, Nifty 500 in one column/row and
c.sectoral indices like Bank Nifty, Fin Nifty, Nifty Auto, Nifty Private bank, Nifty FMCG, NIfty IT, Nifty Pharma in one column/row
d. selective indices like nifty midcap 100, nifty midcap 50, nifty smallcap 100, nifty smallcap 50 in one column/row
(same for BSE indices as well)
Similar action is needed in Markets tab under Stocks > Indices > NSE / BSE. After Nifty 50 comes Nifty next 50 and then Nifty 100. Like that some sorta categorization should be there even for searching purpose (right now it has broad index, sectoral index, india vix, sliced up index and different mess arranged in a line). Bank Nifty and Fin Nifty are sectoral indices. Those should be at bottom end of the list where other sectoral indices exist and not along N50 or NN50 index.
Second request is could Nifty Microcap 250 be added to the existing list of indices? It’s missing from tradingview (Dhan edition only) as well as main list. It’s a broad market index and there is even an index fund tracking it. Could be of some help for investors who wants to put some additional money when the index dips.
