Functionality which is EXTREMELY NEEDED in ETF (Exchange Traded Funds)

ETFs change their sector weighted on regular basis. and the sectors fluctuate during market hours.
Therefore provide the functionality where we can screen/filter out and track the various ETFs based on their sectors
e.g. we should be able to search

which ETFs have ‘energy’ as its top sector
which ETFs currently have highest allocation to financial and consumer durable – as its top 2 weightage sectors in its portfolio
provide the functionality where we can compare the performance of ETFs over 15 days, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months , 1 year etc.

This will improve the relevance and make Dhan feature rich

Hi @VAggarwal,

Thankyou for taking time to provide your valuable suggestion, we will surely explore on how we can implement this to improve our user’s experience.

Any update on this feature, as it has been 4 months almost now?

@VAggarwal I am not sure how this is beneficial. In India, all the ETFs are passive ETFs only - they will follow an underlying Index. The indices don’t change their components on a whim, it happens in the scheduled Nifty indices changes twice in a year, definitely not intraday.

If you want to find out which ETF has highest exposure to Financial and Consumer Durable, simply search for which Index has the highest exposure to them and find the ETF tracking that index. All the details for the indices are available on niftyindices.com website

@Lumiaman88 Thanks for informing and yes these details and fact sheets are updated every month. What I am wanting to know is

e.g. I go to https://www.niftyindices.com/Factsheet/ind_nifty_commodities.pdf
and
Now from which URL can we search – 1) which are the ETFs which have invested in this commodities sector AND 2) which of them has the highest allocation % to this commodities sector
