After creating Forever Orders, I receive the following error message:
‘You have a fund shortage of -₹<> in your account. Your Forever Orders, if placed, will get rejected by the exchange due to lack of funds.’
I understand the importance of maintaining sufficient funds during execution. However, do I need to have the full required amount available at the time of creating the Forever Order itself?

You are not required to maintain any funds in your account at the time of placing a Forever Order, as the order is stored securely on Dhan’s servers without any restrictions. The order will be sent to the exchange only when the specified price condition is met in the market, and at that time, the required margin must be available in your account.
Additionally, we provide an on-screen notification under the Forever Order tab to inform you about the required margin, ensuring you have sufficient funds available before the order gets triggered.
