Hello @PravinJ Hope you’re doing great.
I recently gave Dhan’s Global Investing product a try, and honestly, I think it’s a pretty good offering and a great start. I wanted to share a few suggestions on areas where the experience can be improved, along with some relatively low-hanging opportunities to integrate the Global product even better into the overall Dhan ecosystem.
- Accessibility: Easier Access to Watchlists and the Global Section
Currently, accessing the Global section of the app requires a bit too much navigation. The option is tucked further down, requiring users to scroll before accessing Watchlists, and several other features such as Funds, Reports, etc. require additional navigation as well.
I would love to see a more native and integrated layout, something similar to the experience offered by INDmoney, where both Indian and Global investing feel equally accessible within the platform.
For someone primarily interested in Global Investing, having to navigate through the Indian section before reaching the Global section feels somewhat unnecessary. I believe the Global product deserves a bit more UI priority and prominence than it currently receives.
- Portfolio View on the Homepage
Currently, when opening the app, the All Portfolio view opens by default. The USD portfolio is automatically converted into INR, combined with Indian investments, and then displayed together.
Personally, I would strongly prefer having a separate USD portfolio view without automatically converting everything into INR.
The reason is simple: INR depreciation can significantly affect the apparent portfolio performance. A portfolio may appear to have performed exceptionally well in INR terms while the actual underlying performance in USD is considerably different. This makes it somewhat of a mind game to accurately understand the real performance of the Global portfolio.
Again, I believe INDmoney has handled this aspect quite well, and something similar would be extremely useful on Dhan.
- Analytics: Portfolio Performance vs Benchmarks & Native Insights
I would love to see an independent performance curve specifically for Global investments, adjusted for both realized and unrealized gains.
It would be particularly useful to compare portfolio performance against benchmarks such as:
- S&P 500
- NASDAQ
- Nifty 50
Additionally, native portfolio insights would be a fantastic addition—for example:
- Sectoral diversification
- Market-cap allocation
- Geographic exposure
- Individual stock concentration
- Portfolio performance attribution

- Introduction of Valuation Graphs Within Stock Fundamentals (Indian & Global)
It would be great to introduce visual valuation graphs within the Fundamentals section for both Indian and Global stocks.
For example:
- Historical P/E graph
- OCF Yield
- Industry-average valuation metrics
- Historical highest and lowest valuation levels
- Current valuation relative to historical ranges
This would make fundamental analysis much more intuitive and visually informative.

- A More Native Global Experience Within the Dhan App
Currently, the Global section still feels somewhat like a separate window within the broader Dhan app rather than a completely native part of the platform.
I would definitely love to see a more deeply integrated UI and experience where Global Investing feels as native and seamless as the Indian investing ecosystem.
- Conversion Rates at Dhan Are Excellent
One thing I absolutely want to appreciate is the USD/INR conversion rate offered by Dhan. It is probably among the best in the industry.
I sincerely hope Dhan continues maintaining such competitive and industry-leading conversion rates going forward, as this is a significant advantage for long-term Global investors.
- Integration of Global Stocks With ScanX
This could be a fantastic opportunity.
Global stocks could be integrated with ScanX so users can access financial data, fundamental information, and screeners for US/global equities in the same way they currently do for Indian stocks.
Having a unified research and screening ecosystem for both Indian and Global markets would significantly strengthen the Dhan ecosystem.
- Global Investing on Dhan Web and Dhan TV
I would absolutely love to see Global equities integrated into Dhan Web as well as Dhan TV.
Ideally, the experience should work as natively as Indian equities—with Global watchlists, charts, market monitoring, and analysis available directly alongside Indian stocks.
Being able to track Indian and Global markets through Dhan TV in one unified ecosystem would be a major differentiator.
In my opinion, this could become a genuine USP for Dhan because I don’t believe anyone in the market currently offers such a deeply integrated cross-market experience. Zerodha may potentially develop something similar in the future, but there is a real opportunity for Dhan to establish an early advantage here.
Pre-Markets and Post-Markets prices are still not live, but that is very important in US markets as pre and post almost trades for 4 hours each.
Overall, I think Dhan Global Investing is off to a great start. The foundation is already quite good, and with deeper integration into the broader Dhan ecosystem, better analytics, and a more native UI experience, I believe it has the potential to become one of the best Global Investing platforms available to Indian investors.
I hope this feedback can be reviewed and considered while shaping the future of the offering.
Personally, I would absolutely love to migrate from INDmoney Global to Dhan Global if the product continues evolving in this direction.
