Here is the total worth of FII investments in the Indian Capital Markets

Lately, I’ve been curious about how much Foreign Institutional Investors (FII) actually hold in Indian listed companies.

I found an article that estimates the total value of these investments today. I figured it could be interesting to share this, since others might also be wanting to know.

In fact, as far as FIIs are concerned, their holdings of Indian stocks peaked on September 30 2024 at $930.5 billion. This is about the time when the broader stock market peaked as well. As of January 31, the value of these holdings were down by around 16% to $782.1 billion.

The US market’s are in all-time high we are in selling mode what if global markets will go into correction mode than we will be in serious situation so we need wait and watch until trade war solved or we can just search for low FII Holding stocks and not effected by this brutal selling

This is a broad estimate of the recent situation, but I’m not sure about the details on a smaller scale.

The data is released every 15 days and is being published by the Dep[ositories. You can Check here: CDSL : Fortnightly Sector-wise FII Investment data
