How can I enable demat MFs. I can’t find that option.
Hi @Shreykhemka,

Note: If you’ve received the update, you can activate it by following the path below:
Mutual Funds > Portfolio > Demat > Enable MF in Demat Mode
Hey @GOPAL_MAKWANA ,
As mentioned previously to others, we recommend you wait for the official announcement to know how Demat MF will work exactly. It will take an additional day for the MF to be available for pledge post allotment.
Thanks,
Pranita
Mutual funds for HUF is now the most demanded feature after demat mf
Hi @krishag
It’s definitely on our to-do list the team’s already working through how to bring it smoothest way possible. We’ll keep you posted the moment there’s an update!
@Saurav.P Mutual funds for corporate accounts in the pipeline ?
Hi @t7support Corporate accounts requires a lot of documentation, and KYC / Onboarding docs are usually different for AMCs. Not possible for us as an online platform to enable this.
Yes. Dhan already allows corporate accounts in offline mode like several other brokers. All necessary docs are provided then.
Using the same docs several brokers are already providing MF access to corporate accounts in online mode. I’m not sure how they are handling it if there is a KYC onboarding hurdle due to different KYC norms for different AMCs. But I guess the process wouldn’t be offline. Otherwise other discount brokers including the free one wouldn’t be providing that facility.
Hi, I have my MF with another broker. How to transfer it to Dhan account? Can you please share steps here. Ty,
Is web access for investing into MFs in your to-do list? Not everyone wants to use mobile every time. Some prefer desktop/web access as well.
This is for shares. More or less, should be same process.
Hi @amish and @saurabha213 Please wait while we make a official post about this. There are few things we need to do on our end to make this seamless. Post that, @Saurav.P will share a detailed note on the instructions.
@amish thank you. this helps!
@PravinJ Sure Sir. thank you for reply.
@PravinJ I have corporate demat accounts with Finvasia and Jainam. Both of them offer corporate mutual funds without requiring additional documents.
@PravinJ Any update on mutual funds for HUF ?
Hey @krishag ,
As you must be aware, we recently launched MF in Demat format which took a considerable amount of the team’s bandwidth. Now that it is live, we are focussed on providing other more widely requested updates to the product. While HUF is one of them, it will need some time for development. We will keep you posted.
Thanks,
Pranita
