Hi team,
How can I get PnL statement? The below page does not give P&L and there is no option to download as well.
Is there any self-serve way instead of waiting for support team? Also, any plans to have PnL support in API?

@sv28 You will get the PnL Report over your registered email ID. Go to Profile > Statements and Reports > Profit and Loss (same SS shared)
Got it. The option is hidden though - at some places on dhan, email option is at the top while others it is at bottom, which is inconsistent and causes confusion
Also, what is Turnover
in the csv file? Is it the number which tells whether audit is required or not?
@sv28 Thanks for the design feedback, will get this checked.
For turnover it is the sum of buy and sell. To check if audit is required or not, request you to use ABS function of excel to get the net value of profit or loss. For detail, refer the post here.
@iamshrimohan Does the PnL statement profit after DP charge deduction? I cannot see DP charge deduction anywhere - either in contract note nor in PnL.
Also, I have some questions related to how contract note. I see some discrepancy wrt the brokerage calculator and the note I received.
Hi @sv28,
We have the “Ledger Analysis” tab in the ledger statement wherein you can check your cashflow inwards & outwards including various charges like DP charges, MTF interest, etc.
Further, for any queries feel free to reach out through our help@dhan.co and phone support or chat Get Answers to All Your Queries | Dhan
Hi @Poornima , thanks. However, this did not answer my question. Is DP charge included in the contract note?
On reaching out via support, I am sorry to say but it’s not helpful. Tried multiple times in the past but ultimately gave up and hence reaching out here
Hi @sv28,
DP charges are not reflected in contract note, only trading charges will be reflected in it. Kindly DM me your UCC, so we can connect to discuss.
Got it @Poornima . Is there any place/any document which can give the exact amount of profit after ALL the charges including DP?
@Poornima @iamshrimohan
The pnl statement doesn’t differentiate between intraday & delivery trades. It gives pnl for a particular script as a whole whereas ig should give it separately for intraday & delivery trades as the tax treatment for both is different.
Also, ideally, there should be an option to look at dates of respective trades in pnl statements
Hi @Hiya
We have your feedback, Trader’s Diary and P&L statements don’t include the effect of non-trade transactions like IPOs, stocks transferred, physical delivery shares & corporate actions, and Date wise P&L. At the same time, we are working on bringing updates to our statements to reflect some of these changes.
@Poornima bumping this up just in case you missed
Hi @sv28
Please refer to the ledger statement to view the demat-related charges, specifically the Dp charges. The profit and loss statement shows the Trade related charges.
@Divyesh My question is different. Is there a single place where I can see my absolute PnL? Some charges in some document and some charges there are not helpful at all.
cc: @PravinJ If there’s no such place, I urge you to have this. Without having complete visibility, there’s no use of having PnL
Hi @sv28
Noted your suggestion to incorporate demat-related charges in the profit and loss statement.
So for now please let us know how to calculate it. Do we need to subtract dp charges from the p&l displayed in dhan’s tax p&l?
Datewise PNL is important for tax filing.
CA insists on that.all other brokers are providing this.Otherwise it is difficult to find the details.Hope dhan adds this soon.
Hi, there is no ledger analysis tab anywhere in dhan platforms!
