Alt+tab between office work and the trading platforms along with mobile alerts every minute
Generally I am involved in multiple projects, but from a trading perspective.
- Start algo around 9.
- Monitor Telegram when alert notification for entry/exit/trailing is received. Thats it.
normally my actual work starts in evening, when I work on improving the algo by Backtesting.
Stock market never has ending point to it. It’s like a ocean will try to improve my skills from my mistakes or try to learn new concepts which i am not aware of it but i love to stay with charts for long time because it’s never a boring subject for me. And i’ll also keep on analysis another market like crypto and forex to improve my price action skills.
Wake up at 8:50AM and predict in Market Games (Tukka)
Freshen up and look for overnight news
Then continuously switch between Twitter, Dhan, Angel One for next 1.5 hours.
Since I am not a trader, I don’t have to continuously see the charts.
I look for jobs on LinkedIn, send resume over mail to multiple people.
Give interviews if any.
Read rejection emails
Lastly lunch at 2-3pm while looking at IPO subscriptions and news on Twitter.
Have my afternoon nap.
Wake up at 4:30pm.
I keep scanning the charts… and then monitoring X for any macros.
depends what type of trader you are . if you are intraday trader or scalper , you can open scanx and find the triggers in stocks . if you are already done for the day , open the replay feature and try to trade most volatile month of nifty bank and nifty to understand your psychology as a trader and your reaction towards each trade . for positional and swing trader , you can play chess on the side or scan nifty 500 .
Interesting ideas till now, quite interesting to know mostly everyone’s on X during market hours lol.

Wake up at 8:30 AM, have some breakfast, wait for alerts to trigger all day, read some books, do some cardio… That’s pretty much it. On hectic days, I get some wine in order to focus and boy that does help.
Everything is alert based and GTT based, so fixed entry exits. I am just execution focused during that period, and research focused in non-market hours.
@RahulDeshpande Like the Dhan sticker says: Plan your Trade, Trade your Plan.
@Champion_Trader Trade sitting in a Starbucks. Always almost results in a profit. It can sound clitche but it always works.
Probably bcz bhagwan be like - ab iska itna kharcha ho gaya hai, ab loss bhi ho gaya toh iska mujhpar se vishwas uth jayega #jokes
@thisisbanerjee probably bcz when you are surrounded by show off people, you also think in right direction to make profit and show off.
I don’t think professionals doing this things in trading hrs.
Yes, I believe bcz of the mobile phone my concentration diverted, and taking silly trades. Some time its hard to wait for right trades, though I studied and back testing my strategy, but in real time trading greed, fear, lack of patience are the biggest challenge for me. I just want to fix this things, its hard for me to seating long hrs for a trade . Though I placed only 1-2 trade per day, its mean I don’t have problem with overtrading.
Thank you guys for your contribution, and thanks in advance for future suggestions, your suggestions help me to become a professional trader.
Wakeup at 9 am , bcz I have a job(5pm to 3 am), and I am doing my pre market analysis at night before going to sleep, After wakeup, start my computer and after finished my breakfast, seat for trading, during trading hrs waiting for trades(during waiting watching youtube and reels on social media). Sometimes I took early entry sometimes late entry…
Some time when market reverse, I knew that market reversed But I could not exit and seat in hope that market will continue the trend again(I think thats a hope) and watching something or scrolling my phone … but reversal took my all profit with 1% risk amount.
I have a 15k learning account. But last 4 months I am in breakeven and gave 10% as brokerage, bacuse of this types of huddles
Well @Raj_Majhi I never said I am a professional, I don’t care about trade outcomes. I only focus on the execution and analysis part.
I am just learning everyday and trying to make better trades. That’s it. So far so good.
@Pradumya Once you refine your strategy, it becomes like breathing. You automatically do the right trades without emotional efforts.
1 strategy. 1 screen. 1 mindset. Everyday. All you need to score your first crore.
I am a LT investor in the cash market and a ST trader in Index FnO. I only trade using algos, so dont have to gaze charts much during trading hours unless its a fast moving period where I keep a watch to see if the broker glitches (Dhan margining issues uff). I still like to watch the charts though
I do some research stuff (which I enjoy) during market hours, sometimes watch some News/NetFlix/Prime with my wife (I have a sound controlled HT room). We watch a lot of TV series’ And shopping during the day is peaceful in the quiet with most people busy at work
I am not on X, watch a lot of YT (podcasts about Trading, Programming, Universe, Spirituality/NDE etc)
Quite a good synopsis (and yes, we caught that subtle hint! ).
