Iceberg in basket orders not available (yet)?

Hi team,

I tried to test basket orders and added quantity beyond freeze limit. This should automatically activate iceberg feature. But in this case iceberg option is not shown.

On mobile app order is sliced if it is beyond freeze limit as you can see above in screenshot.

I was testing with 2400 qty and when I executed the basket through mobile app order was sliced into 2 parts and was executed.

But surprisingly when I was trying same basket on web, it was showing error - order cannot be placed beyond freeze limit 1801

Now I want to know when will this Slicing feature same as mobile will be available on web portal as this same feature is available on fyers on there mobile app and there web portal.

As fyers have upgraded there app to new interface which is going over top of my head.

So now looking for another alternative and found your mobile app to be suitable bcoz of basket orders. It fulfills my work but only problem is web portal.

Your web portal in case of baskets is working differently.

Please update on this.

@Trivesh_Hans what is your mobile app version ? I am on the latest and my basket orders are not getting sliced as u can see from the screenshot I posted.

@t7support I also have the latest one on Android phone.

Screenshot which I posted was after execution. In ur screenshot did u execute the basket. If yes did you get any error or so?

Try executing the basket in market hours from mobile app tomoro.

Orders will slice automatically

No didn’t execute. I thought the sliced legs will be added to basket itself while adding the legs… :grimacing:

@t7support try this tomoro in mkt hours.

On mobile app it will slice but onn web portal it’s not Slicing after execution.

@Pranita when will you introduce auto slicing on web portal?

You may not able to see it pre order placement but basket orders get auto sliced on mobile. Thanks for pointing out @Trivesh_Hans , will get this checked and updated.

There is one more thing there is no co relation of resetting basket in mobile app and web.
Both working differently. In web there is a button available for resetting basket whereas in mobile it says >> Add all to basket again. And after clicking add to basket again >>EXECUTE THIS BASKET & INSTANT button both goes away instead small EXECUTE ALL BASKET comes.

What i have observed rite now is to place bulk orders above freeze limit through MOBILE APP and refresh the same basket from WEB.

Now for basket orders - Correct way of placing orders is from MOBILE APP and resetting the same basket is from WEB

Please combine both for smooth functioning of basket. Add reset option of WEB to mobile and add Order placement like MOBILE APP to WEB.

Iceberg slicing failed for basket order. Some times it goes through sometimes it fails.

Thanks for highlighting this. We will check why this happened.

Rest assured, auto slicing in basket order is enabled if the quantities are more than freeze limit.

In the same basket one order got auto-sliced. The other one failed to get auto-sliced.

This kind of issue can get us algo traders off guard. If we have to sit and monitor always, then there is no use in going algo. Hope for a fix soon :folded_hands:
