On account of Gudi Padwa, there will be a settlement holiday on Thursday, 19th Mar 2026. However, market timings will remain unchanged, and trading will operate as usual. Here are the key points to note:
- BTST (Buy Today, Sell Tomorrow) is allowed – If you purchase stocks on Wednesday, 18th Mar, they will reflect in your portfolio the next day, allowing you to sell them on Thursday, 19th Mar 2026.
- MTF (Margin Trading Facility) stocks purchased on Wednesday, 18th Mar 2025, will not appear in your portfolio on Thursady, 19th Mar 2026. These stocks will be updated in your portfolio only on Friday, 20th Mar 2026.
- No trading limits will be available on Thursday, 19th Mar 2026, against MTM (Mark-to-Market) profit from equity & derivatives positions or option premium credit from trades executed on Wednesday, 18th Mar 2026.
- Withdrawals will not be available on Thursday, 19th Mar 2026, for any credit balance in your ledger arising from trades executed on Wednesday, 18th Mar 2026.
