India Opens Global Gateway by Direct at GIFT IFSC!

The government has granted permission for Indian companies to directly list their securities on international exchanges within the GIFT IFSC. This move aims to enhance foreign investment inflows, unlock growth prospects, and broaden the investor base for Indian businesses. Under this initiative, public Indian companies gain flexibility to access both the domestic market for capital raising in INR and the international market at IFSC for capital in foreign currency from global investors.

This policy will aim to transform the landscape of the Indian capital market. It offers an alternative avenue, especially beneficial for startups and companies in sunrise and technology sectors, to tap into global capital beyond domestic exchanges. This flexibility is particularly advantageous for companies with global aspirations, seeking opportunities to expand their presence in other markets.
