No intraday leverage in stocks that have listed in last 3 months ?i.e ipo
Apart from listing day almost all brokers are providing leverage ON IPO stocks for intraday
that means its not a exchange mandate
Also even if stock moves wildy then also max it can move is 20% up and down so 5x will protect the brokers interest as well
