Hey guys, has anyone backtested any intraday strategy for stocks. I checked a few using pinescript in tradingview, but havenāt been able to find any strategy with significant gains.
Nobody will hand out their strategy. Youāll have to study and develop it by yourself and success rate is pretty low for newcomers these days.
Absolutely agree with this. Itās something I realized after a lot of trial and errorāthe real āedgeā or core of someoneās success isnāt something theyāll just give away. You might get hints, basics, or even some decent-sounding advice, but the real underlying reasons for their trading decisions are always kept private. Most people will only talk about surface-level stuff, while their actual method or the thing that lets them spot real opportunities stays hidden.
At the end of the day, everyone is protecting their own work and the effort they put in. That means if you want steady results, youāve got to build your own understanding from scratchāobserve, experiment, and learn from your own wins and losses. Thereās no shortcut. Once you accept that and stop looking for someone elseās secret, you actually start moving in the right direction.
Also, Iāve found that it takes years before anyone starts to really trust their own reasoning and decisions. Gaining that solid confidence only comes after lots of experience, mistakes, and small wins along the way. Thereās no fast track, everyone has to discover their own track in this field.

Hey guys, thanks for sharing your thoughts. I was curious if someone had backtested any intraday strategy and found promising results, not anyoneās personal strategy.
