@Mohseen_Usmani Great initiative but instead of Tradehull, does Dhan have plans to give a feature where the algos can be setup from Dhan’s platform. I am not interested in stratzy’s platform as the Algos listed there isn’t shown.

I am interested in setting up a very simple ETF-based algorithmic strategy on Dhan and would appreciate your guidance on whether this can be implemented using Dhan Algo and, if yes, how to configure it.

I am not looking for a complex strategy involving indicators, moving averages, RSI, trend analysis, or stop losses. My objective is to create a basic buy-and-sell loop using limit orders.

For example:

  • ETF CMP = ₹23.00

  • Quantity per order = 1000 units

  • Buy Gap = ₹0.10

  • Sell Gap = ₹0.30

The strategy would work as follows:

Buy Orders:

  • Buy 1000 @ ₹22.90

  • Buy 1000 @ ₹22.80

  • Buy 1000 @ ₹22.70

  • Buy 1000 @ ₹22.60

  • Buy 1000 @ ₹22.50

Corresponding Sell Orders:

  • If Buy @ ₹22.90 executes, place Sell @ ₹23.20

  • If Buy @ ₹22.80 executes, place Sell @ ₹23.10

  • If Buy @ ₹22.70 executes, place Sell @ ₹23.00

  • If Buy @ ₹22.60 executes, place Sell @ ₹22.90

  • If Buy @ ₹22.50 executes, place Sell @ ₹22.80

Once a sell order is completed, I would like the system to automatically place the original buy order again at the same level, thereby creating a continuous or infinite trading loop.

For example:

  • Buy @ ₹22.90 → Sell @ ₹23.20 completed

  • Automatically place a fresh Buy @ ₹22.90 again

Similarly for all other price levels.

Could you please clarify:

  1. Can Dhan Algo support this type of continuous ETF trading strategy?

  2. Can it be created using the no-code Algo platform, or is coding required?

  3. Can buy and sell orders be automatically recreated after execution?

  4. Is there any limit on the number of active levels/orders?

  5. Can this strategy continue running even when my mobile phone or computer is switched off?

  6. Could you provide a step-by-step guide, documentation, or sample algo showing how to implement this exact strategy?
