At Dhan, we continue our commitment in 2025 to enhance your investing experience by introducing features that simplify your investing experience. Over the past months, we’ve rolled out several updates focused on making investing easier, more insightful and efficient. Today, we are excited to share yet another enhancement aimed at improving how you explore investment opportunities on our platform.

We understand that search is a critical part of your investing journey. It’s the starting point for discovering stocks and companies. Without it, navigating the investment journey would be challenging. To make this feature even more powerful we’re thrilled to introduce Brand Search on Dhan.

Brand Search is designed to give you insightful results by connecting products or brands with their respective companies who are bringing them to you. Often, we remember products or brands that we use daily, hear about in the news, or notice trending in the market, but we may not immediately know which company owns them. With Brand Search, that’s no longer a problem!

Here’s how it works:

• Now when you search for a product or brand on Dhan, the results will show the company it belongs to, of-course if that company is listed.
• For example:
  • Searching for Maggi will show Nestlé as the result.
  • Searching for Domino’s will show Jubilant Foodworks.
  • Searching for Creta will show Hyundai Motors, and so on.

Brand Search not only saves you the time of searching for this information elsewhere but also allows you to make faster and more informed decisions. Whether you’re exploring investment opportunities in companies behind popular products or staying updated on market trends, Brand Search empowers you to act with clarity and confidence.

Dhan’s brand search is far better than Zerodha’s brand search. I tried many small brands and surprisingly they don’t pop-up on Zerodha but works flawlessly on Dhan. Keep up the good work guys @MahimaShah @RahulDeshpande

I find this brand search feature quite interesting.

It would be great if the search could also dig into supplier listings as well.

It would be fantastic to find not only Tata when I look up Nexon but also the companies that supply to them. I realize that making this happen might not be easy. Still, I wonder if anyone is ready to go the extra mile to make it work.

@PravinJ @MahimaShah How good this brand search is, Essenza is a brand owned by ITC and here’s how Dhan and Zerodha performs. Just one example and I can give you countless.
