Thanks Mahima,
I am already in discussion with help@dhan.co. But to me it appears to be a design issue than my account specific issue, hence asked here. I am adding feedback@dhan.co in the chain now.
Please note, with this issues (and one more) ‘Trader’s Diary’ & ‘Journal’ will not show correct data for my use cases and make them unfit for my use. Hence need Core teams attention on this.
Happy to discuss over a call if needed.
Thanks
Sachin K
Thanks @Sachin_Karandikar
Received your mail. Give us some time to review it, and if needed, we’ll get on a call to discuss.
Currently I found nothing new in journal by dhan
All options and features we also have previously except that download report button.
Let me know what is the new functionality that you could not do before.
It’s an ongoing project, just launched to address the reporting issues and a lack of backoffice before the tax filling season
My understanding is, they will also make it a Trading Journal with curated insights. Currently at work.

Hi @MahimaShah . Zerodha’s performance curve makes very much sense. I know the dhan team is busy in building it. I hope it will be as good as zerodha’s. Any timeline when can we expect it to be launched?

Hi @specter
Thanks for bringing this to our notice. The team is on it and will be resolved soon.
How to open in mobile? I understand it’s a web only feature but there should be a way to login to Dhan web via app. I can’t scan qr on mobile browser via Dhan app
Hi @MahimaShah
Debt ETF’s like liquidbees and giltbees are reflecting under equity in journal. However, from taxation pov they will be treated as debt and taxed at slab rates. Request you to please introduce a bifrucation for Debt ETF’s as well in journal which will be helpful while filing taxes.
Hi @funatlearn
Journal is currently available only on web for a better viewing experience. When web is accessed via a mobile browser, users are redirected to the Dhan app for optimal use. We will explore ways to bring Journal access to the app as well. Thanks for your feedback!
Hi @specter
Thanks for your feedback! We’ll evaluate this and see how we can incorporate it into our reports.
Here’s my value curve.
If only ‘Allocation’ could be shown by default instead of all such as stocks, MFs and ETFs, that would be a nice touch. People who want to see the breakup, can then manually select the option. @MahimaShah @PravinJ
Hi @thisisbanerjee
Thanks for the feedback! We’ll definitely evaluate this.
For now, we show all segments by default to give a clear picture of how each one is performing, helping you understand which segment contributes more to shaping your overall equity curve.
