Introducing: MTF on Dhan’s TradingView Console for Swing Traders

Hello Traders,

At Dhan, our platforms are designed to accommodate a diverse range of trading personas. At this time, our comprehensive suite of products comprises the Dhan App, Dhan Web, Dhan APIs, Options Trader App, Options Trader Web, as well as Dhan on TradingView.com and our own TradingView console on tv.dhan.co.

While we have focussed on Traders and Investors in our journey, we had missed upon serving Swing Traders - something that we are building from the last few months. To enhance their trading experience, we introduced the Margin Trading Facility (MTF) on Dhan. With MTF, they can engage in trading across 950+ scrips, utilising up to 4X leverage. What sets it apart is the ability for traders to hold these stocks for an unlimited period. The widespread appreciation from our users reflects the success and popularity of MTF.

Another feature that has resonated well with our swing traders is the Trade on Charts Facility on tv.dhan.co, tailored for their technical analysis needs. Recognizing the synergy between these two offerings, we decided to integrate them, providing our swing traders with the advantage of leveraging margins directly while trading on charts. Through tv.dhan.co, you can now seamlessly execute and manage orders on charts using MTF as the product type.

To place MTF orders via charts on tv.dhan.co:

  1. You can either use the Dhan order window where you can select the order type as MTF.

  1. You can use the Trading View native order window by selecting MTF as the product type.

In both scenarios, you can leverage the benefits of MTF seamlessly without disrupting your regular order placement process and switching between tabs.

Ps: Just ensure that you pledge your stocks that you have purchased via MTF after market hours. You will get reminders for the same via Email and also on the App & Web.

When we place order using MTF option, the buy price is showing average of CNC or portifolio stock, if already existing. So it’s giving wrong profit in mtf buys?? Pls elaborate on avg cost of mtf stocks.

Please give Forever order with OCO, and show that numbers as a line in tv.dhan.co
This will be a game changing feature. Swing traders will love this, we can just drag and drop the SL and Target lines in charts, similar to intraday
