Introducing Power Scalper on DEXT T3 - The Trading Terminal

@Bhavya_Jain Thanks for reaching back and for the update on the quantity feature based on buying power.

Regarding partial exits, you’re exactly right that scalping is all about instant execution.

The use case for a scalper is NOT to set predefined targets before the trade. It’s about dynamically reacting to the market in real-time.

USE CASE:

For example, if my total open position is 438, there is simply no time to manually click the quantity field, erase it, type in 219, and then hit the sell button just to book partial profit or reduce risk. In a fast-moving market, by the time that manual process is done, the move is already over.

We really need is a way to instantly send a market order to close a specific percentage of our current position on the fly.

INTRODUCING CUSTOM HOTKEYS:

While adding multiple buttons to the scalping widget for this might seem like an option, it is not ideal as it clutters the terminal—But having CUSTOM HOTKEYS (e.g., assigning a keyboard shortcut to "Sell 50% at Market") keeps the UI clean while providing the instant execution that the current order form’s partial target feature simply cannot offer.

Because scalping is about instant buy/exit, hotkeys for partial market exits are exactly what we need, similar to how many US brokers operate.

We are literally begging you guys to bring in these hotkeys—it is the single biggest feature missing for active scalpers on the platform right now.
