Speed of Execution is one of the most crucial factors in trading, especially when you are dealing in markets which are dynamic and also when you are trading in large quantities.

b. How fast you place order requests on a trading platform.
With our innovative in-house exchange transaction processing system - DEXT we brought in cutting-edge technology to our order and risk management platforms that has significantly improved the speed at which your order request reaches the exchanges. Currently over 95% of all the orders that Dhan executes are under 50 milliseconds and a large majority of that (over 80%) are under 25 milliseconds. We continue to build and optimise DEXT to make your order execution experience even faster.
While DEXT does everything that is possible to execute your trades faster, all features and platform capabilities on Dhan helps quickly place your order requests. We have introduced features like Auto-Slicing with Iceberg orders - for trades who want to place large quantities above freeze limits; Flash-Trader - for Options buyers to replicate movement of index view quickly; Scalper on Charts - to track charts, price action and execute trades quickly for scalpers; Draft Orders - to save time when you are manually trading in anticipation of price movement; Reverse Orders - that will allow you to reverse your open positions when the markets turn in direction; and many more such features that help traders to quickly place orders and trade on Dhan.
After placing and executing an order, traders need to manage it, typically through the Orders & Positions section. We have now enhanced the Orders & Positions tab to make trade management even faster for large traders on Dhan web.
Introducing: Power Trade Mode on Dhan for Faster Trade Management
Starting now, traders on Dhan can manage their Open Positions and Pending Orders more quickly and efficiently with just a few clicks enabled with the all new Power Trade mode on Dhan Web (web.dhan.co)
Simply by hovering over an Pending Orders, you can adjust the remaining quantity, modify the limit price, fast execute as a market order, or cancel it altogether. Similarly, in the Positions tab, you can convert the product type, adjust the quantity, and initiate a fast exit.
When you change the quantity for an open position, you are essentially entering or exiting trades for the same instrument. Along with the new power mode, Dhan also continues to show you the usual options to Add More, Square Off, Reverse, Access Charts, and Manage Positions in detail. For large traders, even if you increase the quantity beyond the freeze limit, the system will automatically slice the orders to ensure successful execution. The same process applies when exiting an open position.
