We understand that Charts are important for Traders, and all of us at Dhan realise that. Charts are the single point of analysis for many traders who depend on price action, volumes, and various technical indicators to make their trading decisions.
When we started building charts at Dhan, we wanted to extend its use case from an analytical tool to an execution platform as well. This is why we went above and beyond in our collaboration with TradingView to bring an incredible charting experience for Indian traders - which helps in analysis as well as execution, and bring the best of all our capabilities on an dedicated platform - Dhan TradingView console (at tv.dhan.co).
Not just this, along with Charts on Dhan - we also understood that Traders were preferring TradingView over other charting tools that were available in the market. Which was one of our reasons that we took a conscious bet on choosing TradingView as a default and preferred charting partner over the rest in late 2021 where most broking platforms had other charting libraries.
Along with TradingView, we introduced many industry first features for traders in India! We brought in multi-chart layouts, unlimited indicators, and options charts available at zero extra cost for all our users at Dhan TradingView (tv.dhan.co). Additionally, we are the first Indian broker on the TradingView’s Trade Panel, allowing users to connect Dhan directly from TradingView.com and manage trade execution.
For PineScript users in India, we introduced Dhan Webhooks, which act as a direct connector between their TradingView strategies and Dhan’s execution, eliminating the need for any other tool. With Dhan TradingView (tv.dhan.co), we also introduced features that make it especially adaptable for Indian markets, including India-specific timeframes (25 minutes, 75 minutes, and 125 minutes) and later, seconds time frame and custom timeframe, Scalper on Charts, Option Chain on charts, and many more unique features.
In our quest to improve the experience for Traders on Dhan, we are now adding another feature which we believe will be of great value to our users.
Introducing: Price Alerts on TradingView Charts (tv.dhan.co)
As a natural extension for charts, where we provide all data and insights first, followed by the execution facility, now we bring to you Price Alerts on TradingView charts as we understand that it is important for traders to keep track of price levels. It can become an overwhelming task to open charts for each and every stock you want to track. From now, Price Alerts become a handy feature that you can simply apply directly on Charts and forget until you see it once again on your Charts or get alerted when the same are triggered.
To place alerts directly from your charts, just click on the + icon on the price scale and set your alert with a single click. Once you apply the alert, a horizontal yellow line will appear, indicating that the alert has been successfully applied and is active.
You can modify your existing alerts simply by dragging them on the charts, just as you would modify or trail other pending orders. This makes managing price alerts on Dhan extremely simple, with minimal effort while you are analysing the markets.
Additionally, you can manage all your price alerts directly from the charts. Just click on the Alerts icon in the top navigation bar to view all triggered and pending alerts.
You can also customise how price alerts appear on your chart. Click on User Settings from top navigation and set colour and position of alert line, as per your choice.
This has been a genuine request from all TradingView charts users of Dhan. For now, you can place unlimited price alerts on Dhan Charts to track your preferred stocks or instruments.
As with all other Dhan features, this is also synced across devices. This means you will receive alerts across all Dhan products, including Dhan Web and Dhan App. Moreover, if you already have price alerts set on Dhan, you will receive alert messages on top of the charts as well.
