Anyways, i saw a feature on Upstox app which allow users to change between Investors and Traders mode. So, that Traders got what they want to see and investors also.
Can Dhan also implement the change for Choosing Traders/Investors/Both Mode.
So, if someone is both trader and investor, he can choose the Both option.
If someone select investor mode, so that the Dhan app UI could switched to investor friendly mode
Make sure to save preference, so that when user re-open the app, it automatically switched to prefered mode.
Dhan marketing emails also can be personalized with this feature. Currently, Dhan is sending all trading+investing features and announcements to all users.
After this feature, Dhan team can categorise their marketing emails in 3 categories (Traders/Investors/Both), so that only related emails would reach to user emails as per selection.
From an investor’s perspective, this idea is really useful.
I didn’t realize that other stock brokers had thought about and implemented this on their platforms. As an investor, I find a straightforward execution-only platform to be a better option than being reminded of derivatives and all the complicated market details that don’t really impact me.

Does anyone know if there’s a way to turn off the weekly emails about portfolio performance? Recently they always seem to bring bad news and fill up my inbox.

So they will promote only trading
Even I have also already shared same feedback but they will not do so
Actually for trading Dhan app is great , but for investing, I don’t like the app.
UI/UX issue: They try to throw everything in your face. It may be good for Active traders but not for Investors or Positive Traders. Inconsistent data, but can’t complain as they are new to industry, it’ll take time to become the app mature.
i also suggested somewhat similar feature that make it possible to hide Future & option, commodity, mutual funds etc ,options data etc as probably not going to use only equity & etf near future, maybe decade later
