Keyboard Shortcut Inconsistency in Dhan TV chart

Request Attention :eyes: Feature Requests :raised_hand:

Hi @Dhan team,

I would like to call your attention to three cases:

  1. Currently pressing ‘Shift + d’ opens the Market depth and on pressing this combination again it closes the Market depth i.e. the shortcut basically acts as a toggle allowing us to open and close the Market depth immediately.

But the shortcut for Watchlist does not do this. Pressing “Alt + W” opens the watchlist but it does not close it. We have to manually close/hide it using the mouse. It would be great if that was also implemented as a toggle like the market depth keyboard shortcut.

  1. Currently there is no shortcut to open the Object Tree window in the Dhan TV Chart. Suggestion to add ‘Shift + O’ as a keyboard shortcut to do this.

  2. ‘Ctrl + left/right arrow’ could be used to quickly scroll through the chart cleanly at a high speed. But currently the scroll speed has been reduced making it less usable. Could you please increase the scroll speed back to the original value?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Akshay009, You’re right—Shift + D currently functions as a toggle for Market Depth, allowing quick access and closure, while Alt + W for the Watchlist does not behave similarly. We understand its function as a toggle would enhance usability, and we’ve shared this suggestion with the relevant team for consideration.

Additionally, we appreciate your suggestion to introduce Shift + O as a shortcut for opening the Object Tree window. This would indeed improve workflow efficiency, and we’ve passed this along as well.

Lastly, regarding the scroll speed with Ctrl + Left/Right Arrow keys, you can long press the keys for faster scrolling or scroll on a bigger timeframe.

Thank you once again for your valuable input, stay tuned for more enchanements.

Hi @Mohseen_Usmani,

Thanks for acknowledging all the suggestions .

Regarding the scroll speed, i was actually talking about the speed while the keys are being long pressed. It used to be much faster earlier. Right now it feels so slowed down :slightly_frowning_face:.
