Extremely disappointed with Dhan’s rigid and outdated verification!
I tried activating the ‘Rent a Stock’ feature on the app, only to get blocked by a name mismatch issue. Fine, security matters. But what is completely unacceptable is Dhan’s refusal to accept valid, government-approved documents like my updated Aadhaar and PAN card!
Instead of accepting official Govt of India IDs, Dhan is stubbornly demanding a Gazette notification for a simple name correction. Are you serious? We live in 2026—there are dozens of legal ways to verify a user’s identity, including e-KYC, secondary document submission, or taking a formal digital consent/declaration from me.
Why is a “tech-first” platform acting like a slow, bureaucratic PSU bank? I am NOT going through the hassle of getting a Gazette notification when I already hold valid, government-issued proof.
Dhan team, fix your verification workflow and accept my updated PAN/Aadhaar cards or explicit consent to resolve this mismatch. Stop hiding behind ridiculous procedural excuses and respect your customers’ time!
