LIVE: GIFT NIFTY now available on Dhan, directly from NSE International Exchange

Hello Traders,

At Dhan, we guess we know what’s the first thing on the minds of every Trader in the morning - its GIFT Nifty! Yes, earlier this was SGX Nifty.

We have been constantly sharing alerts on Opening & Closing of GIFT NIFTY for a while now via our News Broadcast Service and the same has been appreciated by many traders on Dhan. This is important for traders, it helps understand the market mood and take an account of all global activity happening overnight and prepare their trading strategy for the day.

We understand how crucial this update is for all traders, especially since GIFT Nifty trades for much longer time-frames when compared to NIFTY50. Which is why, now we are introducing the Live Feed for GIFT Nifty on Dhan - which is now directly sourced from NSE International Exchange in the GIFT City to ensure that there are no delays and you get real-time updates.

We have added the GIFT Nifty on Index Tracker across all Dhan Platforms - Web, App.

And yes, as a natural extension to this, we are planning to make this GIFT Nifty index available on charts as well. This is delivered with Dhan’s infrastructure to deliver real-time prices to you optimised for speed.

@Hardik @Dhan , zerodha had introduced charting optioon for GIFT Nifty a long ago.

IndiaVIX is available on Dhan for a a very long time, including the chart.

Some platforms have been available for a decade, we just got started. Despite that there are many firsts we have shipped.

I don’t think no Indian brokers takes users feedback seriously including @Dhan . We, as clients get frustrated when we see our feedback is not given consideration for years.

FYKI, Zerodha is long dead. Only noobs trade there with occasional professionals in between.

@Hardik pls fix…If Gifty Nifty is not showing the index values before Nifty open it defeats the purpose of having this.

Interesting, we didnt consider that scenario. The Open / Closed indicator is tuned to BSE / NSE feeds.

GIFT NIFT Index is not displaying on my Dhan platform.

GIFT Nifty is available under Index Tracker, which is at the top of your web/app. Do check it out and let us know if you cannot find the same.

Just type “India VIX” in the watchlist search box and u can see it listed. Click on it and u will get the specifics

Gifty Nifty values shown currently is wrong. Seems like it didn’t update after yesterday. Sometimes value shows zero also. This feature needs more refinement to work more seamlessly.

Yes or just navigate to another page after first opening index view and then back…gifty loads and shows values.
