It tracks industry-wide funded positions, weekly and monthly changes, along with stock-wise additions and liquidations, helping investors understand where market leverage is building or reducing.


Industry MTF Snapshot (As on August 3, 2026)

Industry MTF Book: ₹1,36,319.83 Crore

Initial MTF Book: ₹1,34,450.32 Crore

Net Book Added: +₹1,869.51 Crore

Weekly Change: -₹1,777.81 Crore

The industry MTF book continued to remain above ₹1.36 lakh crore during July. While the overall MTF book expanded by ₹1,869.51 crore over the month, the week ending August 3 witnessed a reduction of ₹1,777.81 crore, indicating some profit booking and unwinding of leveraged positions towards the beginning of August.
