Mtf pledge Authorization challanges

Hello @PravinJ - It’s always hard to get the pledge authorization requests approved through CDSL website. I enter the OTP but it doesn’t proceed further and it stuck in between. I tried on different dhan accounts, for different stocks, during different timings of the days (between 4-9 pm). However, most of times it only provided OTP and never succeeded.
I know Dhan doesn’t have any control on the cdsl authentication but if you could do something to enhance the user experience and authentication process smoother that would be a great help!
I highlighted this to help team through email and Chats but no resolution.

Hi @SagarK Noted this, as you mentioned we have little control over this as it is a CDSL flow. Nevertheless we will explore with CDSL if there are some new changes or optimisations that can be made.

Once again, will review but not committing as this part is bit beyond our control. Will discuss with @Pranita about same.

as another user whose pledge fails every day (including today) at the first attempt, let me chime in with a few anecdotal workarounds and some questions

  • do the pledge after 4:30. I guess in the first 30 minutes cdsl receives a lot of authentication traffic

  • the authorise button on dhan or verify button on cdsl seems to become static or unresponsive. When this happens, wait for about 20 seconds before pressing again or refreshing

  • If a pledge fails, Dhan sends an email notification and we can try again after about an hour. Can this window be shrtened to 30 minutes ? Is this something which depends on dhan or cdsl ?

  • Can the window of completing the pledge be extended beyond 9 pm for those users only whose first pledge attemmpt has failed ?

But I can definitely say, Dhan’s pledge process is far superior to another broker whose MTF I have used.

Hello @PravinJ & @Pranita Could you kindly assist us with this MTF PLEDGE issue? I am also having the same problem; I tried to pledge my scripts five times, but each time, I was unsuccessful. Up until last week, everything was working as it should. Since the majority of them are experiencing the same problem—getting an OTP from CDSL, but receiving no responses when we press for verification—it appears to be a DHAN problem. Additionally, each repetition takes an hour. Email, chat, and phone calls were of no assistance. I at least hope you people take action to fix the problem. I had to square off my scripts on loss as a result of this problem.

Hi @Pranita strangely just now I have received pledgee confirmation for one of my scripts, which is 175/200 (for partial number). I have no idea how this could occur after receiving a pledge failure email from DHAN and a negative account balance as a result of the conversion to delivery mode this morning.
