@Dhan @PravinJ Well I believe Dhan users including me are looking forward to having Mutual Funds on the web. Could you please share a more accurate ETA on when we can expect to receive it?

Hi @Akhilesh_Kumar & @nitishbangera

Totally fair ask, and we hear this a lot.

Mutual Funds on Dhan Web is in the works. We focused first on getting the mobile experience solid before bringing it to web. We don’t want to ship something half-ready.

It’s coming, and we’ll share an update once we’re confident on timelines.

@Saurav.P “It’s coming“ in a sentence makes “deja-vu“ a common phenomenon now. Hence I specifically mentioned “accurate ETA“. If it’s in the works means you know the timeline and it’s expected for users to know when it can be expected.

@Saurav.P @Dhan @PravinJ 6 months and still no update. Do we have any updates of having Mutual Funds on Dhan Web?

Hi @nitishbangera

Since our last update, the work has moved from planning into active development. The engineering team has started building the complete Mutual Fund journey on Dhan Web, covering discovery, investing, SIPs, portfolio and order management.

We’re now working towards a full release rather than a limited version. We’ll share the launch timeline once the remaining development and testing milestones are locked.

@Saurav.P Do you have an ETA on when will you be able to share the launch timeline? The reason i am asking is because topics here get lost and no one from Dhan is bothered to make a conscious attempt to reply unless someone like me goes through the previous posts and asks for an update.

Appreciate the update that development has started. It definitely gives more confidence than just hearing “it’s in the works.”

That said, I also understand @nitishbangera’s point. Even if an exact launch date isn’t available, it would be helpful if Dhan could share a rough roadmap or progress updates for major features like Mutual Funds on Web. Something as simple as Planning → Development → Testing → Beta → Launch would keep the community informed and reduce the need for repeated follow-ups.

Regular progress updates, even without firm ETAs, would go a long way in improving transparency and keeping users engaged.

Hi @AYUSH @nitishbangera Nope - we do not publish details on ETAs and timelines for multiple reasons.

Firstly and most importantly, we are talking of trading and investing products - they take time to build, develop, test and iterate before we even open to beta / public users. We prefer not to rush-into these products. On the note of topics getting lost @nitishbangera - you will see on this forum itself that some of the oldest requests and feedbacks are shipped from time to time.

We used to share product roadmaps publicly earlier @AYUSH , it just helps our competition keep a track of us and what we are working on. We prefer to keep things away now. While I do appreciate transparency and will advovate for that - there are many things in business and competition that doesn’t help us, or rather goes against us. We have seen this time and again.

@PravinJ Thank you for your response but what I could understand is “never believe us when we tell its in planning“ and it has been proved time and again as well on this forum. Anyway my expectations and hopes are quickly diminishing from Dhan for new features. I will just be using Dhan for what it has to offer currently without expecting anything new.

Hi @nitishbangera Even today, most of our features come from user requests and we continue to be the fastest platform to ship major products and also capabilities, some of the first to industry - be US Stocks, Gold Vault, SLBM, DEXT, Dhan Cloud and many such.

Platform improvements keep happening at all times, just that one of the specific features few users look for get little less prioritisation over others - sometimes you may feel that way. That said @Saurav.P has mentioned that this is in active development.

@PravinJ Well you can clarify the points or just be hell bent on justifying your stand on the delivery when there are other brokers who are providing it right now. You also need to introspect on the fact where the new features were for existing users or it was a customer acquisition strategy. I am only commenting on the things that I have raised and the time it has taken to respond which is pretty evident in the thread/threads. It won’t break my way of working. You very well know customer loyalty changes pretty fast in the broking industry.
