Is this a New App launched? Part of ScanX App created?? Very nice App. Whatâs the purpose of new app launched?
Only investment purpose
@Mohseen_Usmani Is this a new app launched by Dhan? The developer is the same.
Dhan wants to keep secret.. after release in PlaystoreâŚ![]()

Installed it in Android and now I am not sure why Dhan spent time building it. The app looks very similar to Emkay and mStock. Also this could have been integrated in Dhan by providing a simple toggle.
Totally Agree. Dhan should build app like Define EdgeâŚ
I just installed Millions App
First Impressions:
Dark mode is major missing.
The goal of launching this new app i think is to target investors only
I also agree with @nitishbangera that this could be executed better by adding a simple âInvestor Modeâ toggle in main app itself intead of a new seperate app.
I know this new app is under development so I wonât point out bugs at this point, (found 3 bugs in first usage itself)
The opening of the homepage should start with Stocks and second tab should be MF because most people would open the app during market hours to check market movement. Better way would be to remember which tab the user was using when app was closed last time.
One good thing with this app with me would be to use multiple accounts on one device since Switch Accounts feature was killed previously.
Would love to test for bugs and glitches once it develops and launches officially.
Happy to announce this officially for all: Introducing Millions: Our New Investing App for Gen Z and First-Time Investors đ
We look forward to your support, feedback and suggestions same as dhan ![]()
@RahulDeshpande Had installed it 20 days back. It looks clean but as I mentioned previously, the interface is very similar to Emkay and mStock. Also it could have been within the main Dhan app.
Also it doesnât have the separation of Stocks and ETFs like in the Main app. This was one of the core problems I had with Groww as well and sadly they never took the suggestion. Can you add a different section for ETFs so that it can be tracked separately in the Millions app?
Hi @nitishbangera ,
Thanks for sharing your feedback. Millions was designed for people who are just beginning their investing journey. The idea is to keep the experience simple, intuitive, and focused. Dhan, on the other hand, caters to more active traders and investors who rely on advanced features and analytics. Combining the two could compromise the experience for both sets of users.
We expect Millions and Dhan to serve largely different user needs, which is why weâre building them as separate experiences.
As for separating Stocks and ETFs, thatâs already on our roadmap and should be available in an upcoming update.
Thanks,
Pranita
@Pranita Thank you for the quick reply. A correction i.e. I am asking for a separation between stocks and ETF like we have in the Dhan app and not Stocks and Mutual Funds.
Apologies for the typo, updated it. Yes we will be making the separation between stocks & ETFs.
Hi @Pranita few points and updates needed
1. The appâs homepage should start with Stocks rather than Mutual fund. Logic being that mostly people look for stock and market updates on a regular basis. I always have to swipe right to left everytime the app opens.
2. I told this earlier
Dark mode is major missing
3. Found this tiny spelling mistake of Refinitiv with extra e at end
4. Ideally The shareholding pattern data should be default to latest quarter rather than the oldest just because it is listed in that order.
5. A small bug i noticed: When there are no stocks in Watchlist and we go to Market News section, the swiping function works only when there are some news listed.. like in the screen recording attached below, the swiping function is working fine with All and Portfolio section but from Watchlist section i cannot swipe back to Portfolio.6. There should be an option to edit the pinned index on top. Also when clicking on Nifty 50 it opens all index page on NSE thatâs fine, but when clicking on Sensex also it opens NSE listed indices only. What I am saying is When i click Sensex it should open all indices page but from BSE. This is not something that affects anyone but just for the sake of consistency.
Thanks for reading this long. One thing i would admit and appreciate that for me personally this Millions app is better than Dhan app. Very well developed.
Hey @Pradumya ,
Thanks for taking out the time to share your detailed feedback.

Millions is primarily built for first time investors in the market who generally prefer to start off with SIPs in MF. Considering this, MF has been made as the primary homepage. However, we do save your last used preference between Stocks & MF and will land you the respective page by default.

Dark Mode is a work in progress and will be live soon.
3, 4, 5 & 6. Thanks for pointing this out, will be fixed in the next build. On point 6, pinning is something we will wait out a little bit before taking a call.
Thanks,
Pranita
Product @ Millions
Maybe will get update soon. Because in current version 1.0.2 everytime i open the app it starts from MF only..
Edit: i found the reason behind this issue .
Turn off Pre login portfolio toggle
That will override the last used section.
If Pre login portfolio is off then everytime app starts with MF section
My eyes will thank you for that.
I agree to this line but also disagree to keep MF as primary default, let me explain why, a person who has just started to invest in MF whenever he/she will open the app and everytime they see the gains/loss they would be tempted/scared to sell off immediately rather than being for long term investor.
I personally feel when someone invests in MF then it should be forgotten for atleast 3-5 years for disciplined investing.
I also agree that indisciplined ones would anyways find a way to sell off their investments but if an app can create small resistances to avoid these impulsive decisions then that should be implemented.
Anyways development teamâs logic would be something else and there will always be disagreements. One cannot make everyone happy.
Edit 2: Got to know that the Millions app remembers the last selected section and automatically opens it the next time the app is launched.
I still stand by my perspective above. That said, I appreciate the development teamâs decisions, and the new app has been a surprisingly smooth and nearly bug-free experience.
Would be great if Millions App and the MF on Dhan sync with each otherâŚ
Hey @VijayNair ,
That does already happen. Your MF on Dhan will sync on Millions.
What value-addition and purpose does the new app âMillionsâ serve that is not possible on Dhan app??
Millions is investor friendly and for investors who are starting off their investment journey and want simple UI.
Dhan has too many features that are primarily targeted towards traders.
Means, all the features of âMillonsâ app is already present on Dhan app rather Dhan app have some extra features, and if somebody is comfortable with Dhan app then this new app does not provide anything extra to that person.
