When the alert is triggered, it is shown in the notification section; if I go there and tap on that price alert, nothing happens.
If this is an expected behaviour, can we have this incorporated in upcoming releases? Price alert notification redirecting to the respective chart will be of great convenience.
Nope it doesn’t. It’s just a banner leading to nowhere. It’s the same on the web portal too. The way it’s implemented is to show text and no internal reroute on click. Dhan released the Sold portfolio similarly but recently made a change to show the Scrip page on click. Probably, they will take note of it quickly and implement it in a patch.
Hi @khulsat, as @nitishbangera mentioned, we’ve taken note of this and shared it with the relevant team for implementation — so that clicking a scrip from Price Alerts will take you directly to its page.
@Mohseen_Usmani Instead of taking it to the scrip page, please inform the team to be more intelligent. After going to the scrip page, if the app opens the Buy Sell modal with the price already punched in as a Limit order will be really cool. Please please implement the same thing on the Mobile app for push notifications and from the bell icon of the mobile app. FYI this navigation isn’t the same as the “Sold” portfolio.
Please note that this navigation isn’t the same for the technical alerts so please test out thoroughly before it’s released.
Hi @nitishbangera, thank you for your thoughtful suggestion on improving the user experience for alerts . We’re evaluating it with our team and will explore how we can implement this in future updates.
