Hi, is there any further update on this. On MF central, the Dhan based portfolio value has got updated as on date 26th Nov. Only change on Dhan is - now that mutual fund is out of external MF module but not updated in “MF on Dhan” yet.
Let me know if I need to raise ticket along with supporting screenshot/details.
Hi @Skc@Pranav1 we’re still in talks with RTAs to get it reported to us. However, for now please share your latest Detailed CAS Statement for a specific period from 1/1/1990 till Date & do include Zero Balance Folios as well. You can email it to us on help@dhan.co and we will process this manually at our end. Also, please mention the scheme name & folio no. of the consolidated folios. Please let us know if you need any help with this.
After Proper visibility of the mentioned Mutual fund folios of Consolidation, I Will perform consolidation of all other mutual fund folios and inform you accordingly later.
It’s not the right way to make a feature accessible to dhan users. By this way you are compelling users to invest through dhan. Kindly remove this condition and make it accessible for everyone like all your features.
U can just buy a Rs.10 mutual fund unit and access the ext MF visibility in Dhan… That is what I did. Not much of a one time cost to access such a great feature.
Wanted to check if external mutual fund portfolio can be refreshed using mfcentral email otp instead of mobile number? If not so then can we please have an option to request otp either on email or mobile .
Hi @rrhc1504 MF external portfolio can only be refreshed via the registered mobile number on Dhan, and OTP will also be sent on the same mobile number by MF Central.
understood, please consider if option for email otp can also be given since mfcentral already has email linked and has this option of either email or mobile for otps to refresh portfolio on other platforms
Yup, but then if someone like me do not get the MFs here then Dhan is also loosing revenue of margin provided against it - so more business loss then earning
Hey @D_Saha we do not have the authority to pledge external MFs and provide margin against them. You can choose to transfer your external Demat Mutual Funds to Dhan and then pledge to get margins!
Hi @D_Saha Please try linking your External MFs on Dhan, you should be able to do that. If you face any issues, do let me know. However, we can provide margins only on those Demat MFs which are invested via Dhan.
@Dhan@PravinJ 16 days issue raised and 9 days of reminder gone and still not resolved… then what is the purpose to create this platform if issue is not required to resolved ??
Hi @D_Saha Well, I know we are living in the world of instant gratification - however the request you have is needs for product development and it is in works.
What is seen on Dhan, is built in the last 4 years - many other platforms have been around for a decade or more. While we do ship faster, and across multiple products and platforms, we don’t want to set up expectations on timelines.
These are complex financial products and they need to be built, tested for 1000s of use-cases, re-iterated and in many cases also needs to be certified before they go live. When we ship the same, we will share the update for all our users.
