Dear Investors,

We have kept adding small feature enhancements on Dhan all the time, few we mention and many we leave for our users to discover. We keep shipping at Dhan.

One of the features that our users, particularly investors have asked again and again is ability to track their updates from the companies that they are invested in or they follow. We have seen many features that are shipped for this - from Corporate Actions, News, ScanX, and even the latest - Company Filings on ScanX. We know that this is an essential part of understanding market movements, stock behaviour, and portfolio impact.

Over the last few months, we’ve made Corporate Actions in particular more accessible than ever. From showing upcoming actions on Watchlists to adding a dedicated CA tab within your Portfolio, we’ve aimed to bring this critical information to the forefront of your journey.

Among all the requests we’ve received, one stood out consistently - ‘Can you also show Company Results in Corporate Actions?’. We covered these updates in the news, but this was after the announcements and many users wanted to know this beforehand.

This small, but important update is now available - Company Results are now part of the Corporate Actions section on Dhan.

With this, you’ll be able to view upcoming result announcements for listed companies directly in the CA tab. This includes key information like:

  • Which company is announcing results
  • On what date the results will be declared

These announcements can often be market-moving events. Whether it’s a trader looking to spot upcoming volatility or an investor preparing for updates on fundamentals having this visibility matters. You’ll find these results listed along with other Corporate Actions, marked clearly with the respective dates.

It’s simple, useful, and designed to keep you informed and ready. This update is now live on the Dhan App, and will be rolled out to the Web platform soon.

Yes, feature is useful but not in a way that suits the need of intraday or very short term traders.

See, as a trader, my primary source of everything is price action. So, this info regarding corporate events should be available on charts itself.

Anyway, they are fetching same info on scanx.trade; so there should be a way to integrate the same with charts. Why make a user go back and forth to get some piece of data when that can be done via a single screen.

For e.g., take the case of symbol Motherson. They announced that they are going to have a board meeting on 20th May. This info was filed with stock exchanges on 5th of May. And this was fetched by Scanx.

But there was no reflection on charts of any upcoming event. As a trader, I want to stay away from trading in those scrips which are about to announce something in 1-3 days. But there is no way charts could tell me that. There is no integration.

I agree but I also understand Dhan’s motive behind not bringing it on charts as it would just clutter it and slow it down. Probably Dhan can look at a way to build alerts or a notification on the app/web based on a user set condition so that everytime a user opens a chart, its showed on demand.

Agree with Shally, chart integration for this feature is necessary.

Also, adding a small sentiment signal like :green_circle: for expected good results and :red_circle: for bad ones on both the Corporate Actions tab and charts would be a great feature upgrade. It will make analysis much faster for everyone.

Hi @nitishbangera,

They are already showing dividend/bonus. So, just adding upcoming earnings release shouldn’t result in slowdown, I feel.

4 more events on charts in a year shouldn’t make it slower.

@Shally I understand a single user perspective but look at it terms of data i.e. a 200% increase for a single user chart. Anyway I am not debating the need for it. Probably Dhan would add it later like TradingView.
