Overall PnL is misleading on Algos.dhan – Update needed for Gross vs Net Profit

I am writing to raise a concern regarding the way Overall PnL is displayed on algos.dhan. Currently, the Overall PnL shown does not account for taxes and charges such as brokerage, STT, SEBI fees, GST, and stamp duty. This makes the figure misleading and can result in incorrect decision-making for traders.

To ensure transparency and accuracy, I strongly recommend updating the algos.dhan dashboard to show both Gross Profit (before charges) and Net Profit (after charges). This distinction is critical for traders to evaluate true performance and make informed decisions.

Please consider implementing this change at the earliest, as it will greatly improve the reliability of your platform.

You can check both Gross P&L and Net P&L on algos.dhan.co.

Just go to My Algos → Select Algo Strategy → Show Transaction Charges →Tick to view Net P&L.

If you wish to see exact deductions, click the “i” icon next to Charges to view the brokerage and taxes for the day.

You’ll find the same feature under P&L History.
