instead of all this, give this in front of home on home only. someone in panic or resisting a trading urge is already emotional, doesnt have that ability to search around then press.
I completely Disagree. The usability of feature is meaningless if it isnt easily accessible in the time its most needed like a fire extinguisher. Also trading is not just about faint hearted or big guts, no real trader would think like that. It is about at what level a trader’s development is. Someone used to doing 10 traders, is following the plan and cutting at 2 (same time fighting the emotional mind) by use of this feature is becoming more gutsy than a blind fool thinking he is all in control and then loosing capital out of unknown emotional issues. So Courage is required but more so, safety is required and if using this tool helps it then thats great. Even mature traders have potential to trade on tilt. So if someone is double safing himself he is much better.
I think the feature is to help implement the exact same things. aka help in establishing discipline for someone who is not that disciplined right now. As for talking about me, i have just recently switched to dhan, been trading in finvasia & zerodha without knowing there is some feature called kill-switch. Recently i came across, and been implementing the Mental kill-switch for years and have been extremely disciplined. I just talked about the feature’s accessiblity (like fire extinguisher). But i think i may have hurt your ego and it wont let you even contemplate what i am saying, so KUDOS Champ !
