@ST_Trading Dhan heavily copies ThinkorSwim (US based) in many aspects such as the opening and closing bell is exactly the same on both Dhan and ThinkOrSwim. Even ThinkorSwim used a lower-cap based font which is why maybe Dhan is influenced by the design aspect.
But after the acquisition by Charles Schwab, even TOS has moved to caps and beautiful fonts. Dhan needs to get a new font style. No question on that.
It’s a best practice to be straightforward about the policies and visions like this.
Are these really what everyone else needs, or does each person require something different? This might mean they would have to start all over from the beginning.

I completely agree. If there had been a clear understanding of everyone’s needs, it would have made it much simpler for them to set priorities, plan, and carry things out.
This takes me back to a desktop trading platform I used to work with. You could personalize it all—change the fonts, adjust the layouts, and make it fit your preference perfectly. Basically, everything could be tailored to how the user wanted it. I’m not sure if that sort of customization can be achieved with cloud-based applications, though.
Cloud based applications are cheaper to maintain and develop as compared to desktop based apps.
Nothing can match the versatility and prowess of a desktop based application.
Cloud based platforms are just jugaad applications being peddled by the industry as next-gen tech but it is not.
I have personally noted down all the feedback and suggestions and will be sharing them across our internal channels actively.
As mentioned, any major changes involve multiple considerations, and we will carefully evaluate all aspects before making a decision.

A feedback on customer support.
Today I asked about MTF charges—since I’ve never used MTF features on Dhan I was just looking for clarity. But the support kept redirecting me to email or phone support.
It would be really helpful if there’s an option to connect with a customer support executive via chat, especially for such queries.
Sometimes, a simple human interaction solves things faster. Hope you consider this for a better user experience.

@PravinJ I suggest you run periodic surveys in app such as how much would you rate this feature on a scale of 1-5? About any feature or design or whatever.
That would help to get the satisfaction levels while on the specific section, usage and potential improvements.
AngelOne runs these tiny ‘did you like it’ pop-up during various actions in the app and they have been doing a considerable job on that. It’s pretty smart though.
