For any scrip, there are many transactions in each second/minute, represented by a tick. Not all ticks can be shown.
So all charting platforms display 1 tick (buy/sell transaction on the exchange) per second on the chart, whereas in that second there would’ve been hundreds of ticks/transactions.
This is why it is quite possible to have minor differences in ticks across platforms.
