Hi @Rami_Devi Good to see you on MadeForTrade after a while. Yes, there is an update on TV charing library that has resulted in this. Few users have requested this to be reverted and we are also checking feasibility of this with TV.

But there is no such problem with TV charts on Zerodha and Angel. Also. The “Object Tree” option is also missing.

Zerodha is on the latest version of TV, Angel is using a 2-year old version.

Dhan is stuck in the middle of them.

But AO still works as expected!

I observed an issue as well between 2 time-frames of Nifty50.

Reported the issue to Dhan and received a reply stating it’s an issue with TradingView which is actually the issue where TradingView charts show the same. Now its a wait till TradingView fixes it. It also brings up a point on testing during library updates and why my support will always be towards custom charts.

Angel One has a serious top-tier tech team. Don’t mistake them for just another broker - if they play, they play to dominate.

Dhan, on the other hand, is more like a sandbox for the indutry. They throw out pretty good ideas, but basically unpolished, and then the rest of the industry basically beta-tests, fixes, and polishes them before release.

Bottom line: Dhan needs stronger engineers. Whatever anyone else claims, my own experience so far leaves me with that conclusion.

Innovation at Dhan - 10/10
Implementation - 4/10

Pls pls don’t take me wrong… I don’t want to argue but share my take on this.

Even I reported charting issues long back. 3 months old is this & a month old is this.

  1. Dhan is on legacy tradingview libraries as stated by their CS.
  2. To my limited technical experties, I strongly believe it is a compatibility issue bewteen TV & Dhan code/config/binaries.
  3. TV actually works as expected with other brokers.

Hence I am strongly of opinion that something is wrong within integration itself.

@thisisbanerjee Great points but I differ with the following

Dhan already has great engineers because without them, the tech that is given would not be possible. What I feel is that it needs good product managers, delivery heads and an amazing customer support head. The reason I emphasise customer support is that though the engineering is rock solid, the team which understands the issues and conveys needs to be equally amazing.

@khulsat There is nothing to take anything wrong here. It’s a healthy discussion if noted by Dhan will improve the charting experience for all users. If not then the users will take an appropriate decision based on the experience.

Compatibility might be an issue but this will always come when you use libraries. Other brokers might be doing something different to handle this case with a different agreement with TV, you never know. All in all we are here and want Dhan to progress, hence sharing these pointers.

I want F1 (Fix First) not T3 (whatever it is) from Dhan…:slightly_smiling_face:

@Dhan The charts have been really slow today on tv.dhan.co and web.dhan.co. Has something changed?

Yeah… too laggy!
What changed? - I noticed open position status (horizontal line) on Nifty spot chart.

More features - More glitches.

Thanks for all
But are you Understand my above mentioned issue and what’s your opinion about this,is this fix or still not.

@Rami_Devi, even I reported this here:

Refer marker A.

OHLC is a very essential data point. Let’s hope some solution is there.

BTW, Tradingview native app doesn’t have this issue. Whenever we point on a bar it’s OHLC values along with volume, change and change % is displayed on mobile screen either in one or two rows.

@Rami_Devi This issue is specific to the Android app. It’s not an issue in the IOS app. I had mentioned it here
