Proud moment as Amazon AWS mentions Dhan’s in-house trading engine - DEXT

Earlier today at the AWS Mumbai Summit, Sandeep Dutta, President at AWS India, spotlighted Dhan and spoke about our proprietary trading engine — DEXT (Dhan Exchange Trading System) — as a global benchmark in financial technology.

That’s not all. He also highlighted our AI-powered multilingual chatbot, reaffirming how we’re building truly at scale with AWS, right here in India.

For us at Dhan, this isn’t just validation — it’s a proud milestone for everyone who’s been part of the journey.

A year ago, we introduced DEXT — our proprietary in-house trading engine built from scratch. Today, it’s the core of our platform, enabling us to:

  • Execute 90%+ of orders under 20 ms
  • Run 6–8x faster than industry benchmarks
  • Stream full market depth on charts
  • Process millions of orders daily, with 40% under 10 ms
  • Operate on an active-active, multi-region setup, powered by AWS

While most brokers rely on legacy systems, DEXT is built ground-up with:

  • A parallel-processing architecture
  • Barrier sync + consensus layers for ultra-fast validation
  • Cloud infrastructure that keeps utilization <30%, even on volatile days

Today, DEXT connects to exchanges in real-time, scales on demand, and delivers the kind of speed and reliability that gives super traders and long-term investors the edge they need.

This recognition wouldn’t be possible without our community’s support. Thank you for believing in what we’re building.

Certainly. I know I manage our wealth with the best.

Many other brokerages also use AWS, but Amazon mentioning Dhan? Well, that is something.

this is indeed achievement…

BUT
its HIGH TIME since @Dhan RESOLVES THE BASICS to RESOLVE THE TAXATION RELATED BOTTLENECKS … this will be GAME CHANGER which can attract even more users FASTER to dhan from competitors
e.g. zerodha and other trading platforms offer SEAMLESS UPLOADING OF TRANSACTIONS into incometax website of Indian government – why you dont adopt that functionality?

If for some reason you prefer routing @Dhan users through 3rd parties such as @cleartax etc. then 1) offer options to choose the vendor AND 2) ensure no import/upload error occur when tax filing
:face_with_peeking_eye:

As you will agree, trader is already under major stress and your PRIORITIZING TO RESOLVE these LONG PENDING ISSUES (which have been highlighted by soooo many users several times) is what is MUST :writing_hand:

Remember we are @Dhan users and trust you with our hard earned money and trust that you will support us in solving these ITR filing hassles – so that we can focus on @trading :hand_with_index_finger_and_thumb_crossed:

Hi @VAggarwal We had these teething concerns when we went through the cycle for first two years, and last year / this year we monitored all of them and also launched Journal for all reports.

We do integrated with Quicko and Cleartax, and thousands of users have used this facility. Not sure where a broker uploads transactions to incometax website, please share more details. Happy to take a look at same.
