Feature Request: Real-Time Interest Calculation for MTF (PayLater) Holdings
I request the introduction of a “Interest Till Date” calculation feature for shares purchased via MTF (PayLater) on Dhan.
Currently, interest costs need to be calculated manually using external tools, for eg. Dhan mtf calculator available on line
Despite Dhan already having access to all required data such as margin utilized, interest rate, holding period, and trade history. This results in system-driven but externally computed outcomes, increasing friction for users.
Proposed Enhancements:
A dedicated “Interest Till Date” tab for each MTF holding or this calculation under trades/on mtf section of holdings tab.
Net cost displayed directly in holdings, inclusive of accrued interest.
Support for multiple buy/sell entries within the same scrip, with accurate interest computation on the open position.
Display of per-day interest cost under the MTF holding or a newly created interest expense tab.
Real-time visibility of interest expense and breakeven price, enabling informed hold/exit decisions.

Simplified and trade-wise tax expense reporting, reducing manual aggregation and potential scrutiny during ITR filing
This feature would significantly enhance usability, transparency, and compliance for active MTF users.
