January 2024 has proven to be quite interesting.
Tomorrow marks the Monthly Expiry of Bank Nifty and Nifty. Since the monthly expiry occurs on the last Thursday of every month, Bank Nifty’s monthly expiry is scheduled for tomorrow. However, the last weekly expiry of Bank Nifty will be next Wednesday (31st January 2024).
The reason today wasn’t the weekly expiry of Bank Nifty is that monthly expiries also serve as weekly expiries.
