I wanted to bring up an important concern that many of us in the community have encountered recently. In cases where there is a negative balance of just Rs. 20, shares are being pledged and unpledged, leading to unnecessary losses.
The key issue here is the lack of intimation or notifications from Dhan regarding the negative balance. Normally, contract notes and balance updates are provided between 8 AM and 9 AM, but the shares are being pledged by Dhan around 10 or 11 AM. This leaves little to no time for users to address the negative balance before it leads to actions like pledging.
It would be greatly appreciated if Dhan could provide a similar notification system as other brokers, where users are informed in advance and given a reasonable window of time to resolve such issues (my previous broker, for instance, provided 6 days).
Looking forward to improvements in this area to help prevent unwanted losses.
