It has been over a month since the US Stocks & ETFs feature was launched. It is a very helpful addition for investing globally, but right now, there is some practical friction while using it.
I would like to request two important updates for this feature:
Request for Candlestick Charts: Currently, the US segment only shows a basic Line Chart and lacks the standard Candlestick icon (📊) that we have in the Indian segment. Even though this feature is purely for delivery-based investing, chart psychology and candle patterns are highly essential to find the right buying levels and avoid retail traps (like fake breakouts/breakdowns). Right now, we have to open TradingView separately just to check the candles and then switch back to Dhan to invest.
Request for Dhan Web Access: Analyzing global markets and long-term charts is much better on a bigger screen. We request you to bring this complete US Stocks feature to the Dhan Web platform as well.
Quick questions regarding the updates:
Why is this feature currently not available on Dhan Web, and by when can we expect its launch on the web platform?
When will the Candlestick chart update be rolled out for the US Stocks interface?
We are eagerly waiting for these updates to streamline our investing workflow.
Really glad to see that the Candlestick Chart experience for US Stocks & ETFs is now live on Dhan. Having candle psychology and technical indicators makes navigating US market setups and long-term entry levels so much smoother.
Just a quick follow-up: Is full US Stocks analysis and execution on Dhan Web also arriving soon in the upcoming pipeline?
Hey @U.S Uttam, Glad you like the updates and are also using them. US Stocks on Web is on the cards, for now we are prioritising Mutual Funds on the Web. US Stocks will also follow.

I have already shared this feedback with the Dhan team, but I wanted to post it here as well to ensure it reaches you.
Bringing US stocks to TradingCharts portal and the Dhan Web platform would significantly improve the trading experience for swing traders like me, making analysis and execution much more seamless and hassle-free.
There is also a strong business case for this. With brokerage capped at $10 (approximately ₹950) per trade, which is significantly higher than the ₹20 brokerage on Indian equity orders, I believe focusing on the US trading experience can boost your bottom line as well as mine. A win-win for everybody here.
Currently, INDmoney charges up to $25 per order, and Vested has a similar pricing structure. However, neither has managed to deliver a truly compelling trading platform across both mobile and web. INDmoney’s mobile app is decent, but its web platform leaves much to be desired.
Dhan has a real opportunity to be a category expander here by offering a comprehensive US trading experience with robust charting, full-fledged watchlists, and seamless web-based trading capabilities.
I believe this could be a meaningful differentiator for Dhan, attracting active traders who are looking for a better platform to trade US markets.
