REQUEST: Please Provide a Desktop Trading Terminal Like TradePoint with Advanced Indicator Settings

I’ve been using your platform for a while and really appreciate the clean interface and seamless integration with TradingView charts. However, I’ve noticed a limitation that many active traders like me face:

While TradingView charts are great, the indicators provided are limited, and we can’t modify or fine-tune the indicator settings beyond a point. This restricts deeper technical analysis.

Recently, I came across the TradePoint terminal, and I must say, it offers much more flexibility in terms of customizing indicators and layouts. It also allows users to adjust settings in a more advanced way, which is highly useful for serious traders and technical analysts.

REQUEST:

Please consider launching a dedicated desktop .exe terminal (like TradePoint or Amibroker) with the following features:

More advanced indicator settings and customizations

Support for user-defined indicators or custom scripts

Faster chart rendering and smoother performance

Option to save and manage chart layouts locally

Keyboard shortcuts and multi-screen support

Having such a terminal would definitely take Dhan to the next level and make it even more competitive for professional traders.

Would love to know if something like this is already in the pipeline.
Thanks and looking forward!

Umm, like what?

AFAIK my idea is, it isn’t happening. Besides I was a big fan of desktops earlier, but I think given the choice I will go for web platforms.

No desktop can be faster that we are getting on web now. Charts load instant on web now. Literally instant.

Already present and multi screen works better than a desktop here again.

What about the indicator? I need to add range in my cmo indicator… Iike Rsi you can put upper and lower line 70 30… . I am using another broker for this indicator…also darvas box indicateor is not available…

Hmm, maybe try asking folks over at Dhan and see if they can fulfill your requirements?

Again, I don’t think this has something to do with desktop or web, just maybe with indicator support.

I was also a fan of desktop exe apps once but they don’t support macOS, delayed updates and shunned by tech bros as a whole all over the world.

I evolved to web gradually.
