Search option in orders

Hi @Dhan, is it possible to bring a search option in orders and past trades in mobile?

Hi @sri1647, Currently, adding a search option in orders and past trades may lead to a cluttered experience. However, we provide filtering options based on Name, Product, Quantity, Order Type, Price, LTP, and Status in ascending or descending order under the Orders tab on dhan web Additionally, past trades can be viewed based on the selected timeframe, which should be sufficient for most users.

Hi Usmani, completely in disagreement with this. Not sure how adding a small search icon will lead to a cluttered experience. FYI, it is available in positions tab already. The provided solution is time consuming when the orders are more in number. A small magnifying search icon won’t capture much space even. It reduces the time taken to search either with a strike price or instrument type etc.,Hope the purpose is understood now. The past trades tab is not used multiple times during a day, so even if you add a small search icon here, I don’t see any user is getting affected through it.

@Dhan, We don’t have any search option in the mobile app to search for any completed order in the orders tab.
In the web version, I wont get any result if I search with the strike price. I need to type the entire contract name to get the same.

This is a small change but can create an useful impact. Sadly, dhan team couldn’t understand this.
