Short delivered shares not updated with the correct cost basis

I bought Exxaro tiles on May 26,2025 on the day it hit UC.

42919 shares got credited on T+2(May 28,2025) while the rest got delivered at T+1 so I’m assuming they were short delivered

The cost basis of the short delivered shares haven’t been updated correctly. As per my understanding, it should’ve been the price at which the CC obtained them via auction.

Please update the same or clarify the reason for the cost basis

Also, kind request. There was no indication of any sort that there was a short delivery from Dhan’s side. Other brokers intimate via email as well as have an indication on their site/app. Please add this feature

Hi @EggMasonValue as discussed on call, the settlement of pay-in and pay-out shortages is handled by the exchange, and the average price of Exxaro Tiles is updated accordingly.
