Hi, Please see the screenshot and advise how to place SIP orders for stocks ?
I dont see any option
Hi @krishag
To place SIP orders for stocks, first search for the scrip name in the application. After that, you will find the Market tab option, where you can create a stock SIP based on your preferred frequency (monthly, weekly, or daily).(Screenshot attached)
Alternatively, you can go to the Orders tab, where you’ll find the SIP option, search for the scrip, and create the SIP.

But if funds are not there in trading account , then ? Is there any way you pull funds from my bank automatically through enach or upi autopay, etc etc
Thanks. Pls help on auto add funds
Hi @krishag
At present, the funds for SIP orders will be utilized directly from your Dhan Trading balance. If the balance is insufficient, the order will be rejected. Read More here
We’ve noted your suggestion regarding auto-adding funds and have forwarded it to our team for further review and consideration.
If funds are not taken out from bank automatically, then the entire meaning of sip fails. For one or two months, i can load the balance in advance but every month if I have to load the balance myself, its not possible.
Is there a dedicated account number assigned for dhan so i can set up standing instruction with my bank to transfer funds to that particular account using neft /rtgs ?
If yes, how do i see that bank details where i can transfer money
I can see my virtual bank account on dhan funds. Can you confirm if this account remains same forever or it keeps changing.
Since I 'll set up standing instructions from bank to this account and I will forget about it & if money goes to wrong account, It will be a big problem
@PravinJ Can you please confirm
Hi @krishag we have noted your feedback on the autopay feature for stock SIPs. Rest assured, this is already on our roadmap, and we will update you once it goes live.
Since you have already enabled Smart Transfer to add funds to Dhan, I would like to share that you can use your virtual account details sent to you. These details will remain the same, and if there are any changes in the future, we will notify you in advance.
Thanks Radhika. I hope you bring in auto debit through upi auto pay or e-nach.
This will be a game changer for investors
@krishag UPI AutoPay is now live for Mutual Funds on Dhan. Introducing: UPI AutoPay for Mutual Funds
Great. Can we also use this to auto add funds in our trading account ?
