SL order type addition required - currently set as Market

Hi @PravinJ

How are you? Hope you are doing Well [I am not, but tough phase will end, hopefully End of Calendar year or Earlier, James Dalton writes in his work “Mind Over Markets”, Traders gain Experience by trading alone].

It’s welcome to see Drag & Drop SL/Target in App & Charts.

However, Issue w.r.t SL is

  • By default it is set to Market order
  • Wish An option is given for user to choose SL - either as Market or Limit order .

Hi @vinbhat, Super Orders are designed to execute exits as market orders, since during periods of high volatility the price may move beyond a limit price, leaving a limit order pending instead of executing.

If you prefer a limit stop-loss, you can use a regular Trigger-Limit Order, which allows you to specify both the trigger and limit price using this you can set your exit price range. Please refer to the screenshot below for reference.

@Mohseen_Usmani I am aware, but then Drag & Drop won’t work, at entry or later.

Genuine issues shouldn’t be brushed aside.
