Today I found that you have removed the Smart Invest Tab when I open any stock from Portfolio. Iām using Android Mobile App. This is really required as it is the easy and fastest way I can see all the forever orders those I already placed for a specific portfolio stock. Forever order list for all the stocks doesnāt help in this case.
Please fix this issue⦠āSmart Investā Tab is required unless youāre planning to show those details under some other tab of the stock.
Even if youāre planning to rearrange the layout, keep the āSmart Investā Tab for the time being until you show the underlying details of āSmart Investā tab under any other tab of the stock.
Hi @SumanKJana, we are currently revamping and restructuring data, and to avoid duplication, the Smart Invest tab has been removed. You can set up SIPs and alerts from the Markets tab, and place Forever Orders from the Forever tab.
@Mohseen_Usmani Not sure what do you mean by duplication. I think youāre missing the whole point. It is not about setting up new SIP or new Alert or new Forever Order, rather Iām asking to show existing SIP or existing Alerts or existing Forever orders under each stock/ETF which we used to check under āSmart Investā tab. These are critical information and should be shown and editable under each stock/ETF.
@thisisbanerjee Thanks for your reply but those tabs doesnāt help much. Iām aware of those tabsā¦that forever order tab shows all the orders of all stocks and all ETFsā¦but it is not useful at all as I have hundreds of forever orders, for buy and sellsā¦daily while checking portfolio I check some stocks/ETFs as per market condition. Then I check existing forever orders under it⦠sometimes I update forever orders as per market condition. news etc. instantly while checking that stock from Portfolio. Same for alerts as well. Logically existing forever orders, SIPs, Alerts should be shown under each stock/ETF for easy and quick access to edit them on demandā¦the way it was so far under āSmart Investā tab.
@Mohseen_Usmani Please do not remove the āSmart Investā tab from mobile app. There shouldnāt have any debate whether it is required to show existing Alerts, SIPs and Forever Orders under corresponding Stock/ETF or not. I donāt understand what is the problem if you show them under āSmart Investā or any other tab. This is a basic critical feature, and currently Iām forced to check web version āSmart Investā only. If youāve decided to remove this basic feature permanently from mobile app, let me know, Iāve to look for alternate Broker Platform.
Hi @SumanKJana We are simplifying overall experience on Dhan and with that features that are used less frequently are being removed. Our idea is to make things simpler, and load some of the elements faster.
@PravinJ Iām surprised to know that SIPs, Alerts and Forever Orders are least used features. Anyway at least you can keep the āSmart Investā feature with a lazy loading approach. Once the tab is clicked then load the data on demand. Removal of such basic feature is road blocker whoever uses it.
Are you planning to remove the āSmart Investā tab from web version also?
Hi @SumanKJana Nope, I should have been clear. SIPs, Alerts, Super Orders, Forever Orders - are some of the most used features on Dhan. They are accessed most frequently via the respective tabs, and very very infrequently via Smart Invest tab.
Yes, Web is also due for a enhancement and it will be rolled out over next few months.
@PravinJ If SIPs, Alerts, Super Orders, Forever Orders are most used features, then it would be better to show all the existing SIPs, Orders, Alerts under each Stock / ETF as well. Respective feature tabs will show data for all the stocks and all the ETF but It is hard to manage things there when data size increases.
If we have setup multiple Alerts or multiple buy/sell forever orders for each stock or ETF, it will be impossible to see those together in one place within a single view for a specific Stock/ETF, after removing smart Invest tab everywhere. Also before creating any new forever order or new alert from specific Stock/ETF screen, it is always better to show the user what is already existing under that specific Stock/ETF to avoid duplication. I have been using that Smart Invest tab every single day frequently since I joined Dhan.
I do not agree to call this removal an enhancement rather it is a degradation of user experience unless youāre planning show them (also allow to edit them there) under different tab of specific Stock/ETF. Please reconsider to keep this useful feature with lazy loading approach.
