NSE and BSE will be conducting a special trading session on Saturday, May 18, 2024 in the Equity and Equity Derivatives segment. Exchange will be open just as normal for trading on this day. The processes of trading, settlement and billing will happen as usual but for a smaller time window. The session will be conducted in 2 parts - Trading Session 1 and Trading Session 2. The schedule is as mentioned below:

Trading Availability on Dhan:
Please note that following segments & order types will be available for Trading on Dhan on both these special trading sessions on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

We request you to note following impact:
1. Settlement Holiday: On Saturday, May 18, 2024, banks and depositories will be closed for settlement. Therefore, the settlement for trades conducted on Friday, May 17, 2024, and Saturday, May 18, 2024, will take place on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 (Monday May 20, 2024 is a holiday due to General Elections)
2. No Trading Limits against MTM profit and Option Premium: No trading limits will be available on Saturday, May 18, 2024 against MTM profit on equity & derivatives positions, option premium credit for trades dated Friday, 17 May, 2024.
3. No Funds Withdrawal: Withdrawals will be paused from the evening of Friday, May 17, 2024 to 9:30 AM on Saturday, May 18, 2024. Also note that, withdrawal requests placed thereafter will be processed on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, after 10:00 AM.
4. Cancellation of Pending Orders: Orders placed in the first trading session that remain pending for execution will not be carried over to the second trading session. They will be cancelled once the first trading session concludes.
5. Intraday Orders: For the CASH and F&O segment, Intraday / CO / BO orders will NOT be available.
6. Daily SIP orders: Daily stock SIP orders will be sent to the exchange for execution at 09:30 AM.
7. Pledge/Unpledge: While pledging of securities will be available between 08:00 AM to 03:00 PM, un-pledging of securities will not be available.
8. MTF OTP: For your MTF trade on 18th May, 2024 you need to accept the OTP by 5:00 PM for pledging the securities to successfully book your MTF trade.
Also note that AMO Orders and eDIS will not be allowed in between the sessions.
