Just a suggestion, in the US there are SMART orders that have fill guarantees. I’d be happy to see something like that in India where I would enter a limit price for a spread basket order, and once I’ve sent that order to the Dhan, on dhans backend the order will only fire if the limit price I outlined during order placement can be achieved through a market order on the contracts inside the basket order.
It would be faster for dhan to manage the limit spread orders (as you guys are closer to the exchange) instead of me internally managing spread limit orders with delayed market data.
This would especially be beneficial for traders trading spreads on illiquid stock fno, and even far dated index fno.
I would infact even pay for something like this, or even help build it. I know implementing something like this would only be backend integration and no need for a “new type of order” that the exchange and regulator will have to introduce and approve. Instead of the processing being handled on the traders end, itll be handled on dhans end.
