Suggestion to Enhance Phone App Position Dual View – Security-wise P&L Tracking

Hi Team,

I would like to suggest an improvement to the Positions section to enhance the user experience and make it easier to track individual stock positions.

1. Security-wise Position View

It would be great if the Position Dual View could be enhanced to display all positions security-wise, with each stock shown separately in the Open Positions and Closed Positions tabs.

For example, if I have multiple open or closed positions in the diffrent stocks, I should be able to view all trades separately (Not combined P&L currently displayed) along with it’s realized and unrealized gains/losses.

This would make it easier to track every single position, understand the overall performance of each stock, and monitor trades without having to switch between different tabs.

2. Overall P&L at the Top of the Tabs

It would also be helpful to display the Total P&L prominently at the top of both the Open Positions and Closed Positions tabs, along with the overall realized and unrealized gains/losses wherever applicable.

I believe these enhancements would significantly improve the usability of the Positions section and provide a more seamless trading experience.

The position line shows P&L based on the average price, not individual trades, as per industry-standard practice. For trade-wise P&L, you can refer to the Global Transaction Statement available under Journal.
On web.dhan.co > Profile > Get reports on Journal > Statements & Reports > Global transaction statement.

We have your feedback on showing unrealised P&L in the Positions tab.
